Our Favorite Math Program

Systematic Mathematics DVD program

It’s a fantastic and well put together program with DVDs and printable worksheets.

 Systematic Mathematics

Not only is it much nicer to have a math teacher right in your own home teaching all the concepts that you’ve totally forgotten, but it’s also a much better math program than your going to get anywhere. His system of teaching is better than any I’ve seen and my daughter, who is non-math oriented, (like her mother…), is able to understand what is being taught.

Take a look at the free Diagnosing Pages and see what I mean – I found it fascinating and enlightening.  I purchased it immediately and started using this great math dvd program with my eldest daughter and it really paid off!

The Old Schoolhouse

One of my favorite resources is The Old Schoolhouse – they have an ever growing selection of great homeschool resources, products and information. They have a very popular and informative homeschool magazine – that you can get either in print or digital.

At TOS you can find the best Homeschool Planner available that is just absolutely jam-packed with calendars, forms, schedules, chore charts, grocery lists, recipes and so much more for both home and school. You can even get the all new, age appropriate Student Planners for elementry school, middle, and high school, including an additional special needs planner.

In addition there are some great, free e-newsletters that you can sign-up for, like the Homeschool Minute – my absolute favorite resource for real, down-to-earth encouragement. Some of the authors include Todd Wilson and Ruth Beechick. It’s great knowing I’m not alone or required to be perfect in my own homeschooling endeavors.

The Old Schoolhouse Store is also filled with a bunch of great books, original ebooks and too much more for me to list!
